SWEATER 3.1 Phillip Lim // SKIRT Helmut Lang // SCARF Who What Wear for Target

It’s been a long (a really long) time since I’ve been in school. However, I always love seeing the fall styles roll in and helping my clients shop for the new school year. There are so many fun trends happening for fall and this look combines some of my favorites!

Let’s start with this yellow 3.1 Phillip Lim sweater. The oversized sweater is a huge trend this season and this is one of my favorite versions. The vibrate yellow color makes a huge style statement and can be worn with jeans, skirts or even over a dress. I chose to pair the pull over with my favorite Helmut Lang denim skirt. Denim skirts are making a huge comeback for fall! There are so many different styles out there to choose from, so you are sure to find one that fits your style vibe.

Another big trend is the neck scarf. This polka dot version is from the Who What Wear collection and you can get it at Target! I know that this baby will get a ton of wear this fall because it goes with so many different outfits. They also have different patterns you can check out as well.

Happy back to school shopping!

DRESS MSGM // SUNGLASSES Zara // LIPSTICK Revlon

Some dresses just make me smile. This MSGM cutout dress did just that when I saw it on the rack! There’s something special about the cutout design, bright colors and that bow that make this dress really stand out. MSGM never fails to design the perfect statement pieces each season. Their designs are not for the faint of heart or the shy wallflower, but for the gal who wants to make a wardrobe statement. I mean, you will really turn some heads with this little number.

Ok, now let’s just talk about these Zara tassel shoes for a moment. I mean, how perfect are they with this dress?? I have been wearing these babies with everything from distressed jeans to sheath dresses like this one and they always get me lots of compliments. The best part? They are only $69.00!

Stay Stylish!

DRESS Alice and Olivia // SUNGLASSES Tom Ford // SHOES Jeffery Campbell LIPSTICK Urban Decay in #69

I feel very lucky to live in a place where I am about an hour car ride from everywhere. I love visiting my clients in Los Angeles, San Diego and of course, Palm Springs. I just adore the PS vibe! The Ace Hotel and Swim Club is one of my favorite places to visit when I’m in town. This mid-century desert gem is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. If you’re planning a trip, you must visit stop by The Ace for one of their famous pool parties!

I always like to dress very “boho luxe” while I’m in Palm Springs. This off-the-shoulder shift dress by Alice and Olivia was perfect. The Moroccan-style print and bright colors just make me smile! I threw on some Tom Ford shades and Jeffery Campbell red kicks and I’m good to go.

Stay cool,

Xo, SM
