DRESS Jonathan Simkhai // SUNNIES Edge I-Wear // SHOES Lucky Brand //

There’s nothing like a great pair of sunglasses to get you in the mood for summer. These “Edge I-Wear Jasmine” rose gold sunnies are the perfect pair to sport poolside or while running around town! I love everything about these sunnies, but I especially dig the price (only $10.00!). Edge I-Wear also has tons of other super stylish shades for guys and gals. Be sure to check out their awesome selection of styles at edgeiwear.com!

Obviously I had to find the perfect dress to wear with these statement sunnies. I knew I couldn’t go wrong with my main man Jonathan Simkhai. His designs are always so edgy, yet ultra feminine all at once. This little number just happens to be my favorite shade of pink and I just couldn’t resist the flirty style. I threw on some Lucky Brand peep-toe booties because they are just so comfy and cool with dresses.

Stay cool!

TOP Kate Spade // PANT Rag and Bone // BAG Tory Burch //  SHOES Zara // LIPSTICK Chanel

Summer days are upon us and that means it’s time for a wardrobe re-fresh! Every season, I go into my closet and evaluate what’s working and what’s not working anymore. I am a firm believer that when you introduce a new piece of clothing or pair of shoes into your life, you must make room by letting something go. I do this with clients all the time because it’s a great way to weed out what is no longer serving you (hello jeans from before you had the baby!) and helps to de-clutter your life.

Another seasonal goal of mine is to try something new and different with my style. This season, it’s wearing the color white. I know that sounds funny, but I always hated wearing white because it always made me look so washed out! However, when I chopped my hair off and went much lighter with the color, I found that I could wear soft colors again. It just goes to show that you always have to mix things up with your look to keep it fresh!

This white eyelet top by Kate Spade is on major rotation at the moment. I love the feminine flair it has and can’t get enough of the cut! Of course this blouse looks great with jeans or a skirt, but I opted for a black skinny pant by Rag and Bone, just to keep you guessing. I had to add a bit of color to the outfit with this Tory Burch bag, which is the perfect size for my “running around town” essentials.

Now let’s talk about these shoes. These precious babies are from Zara and they are everything! I have been wearing them with pretty much everything because, well, they are just too perfect not to wear. Plus they look like Aquazzura, but are a fraction of the cost!

If you want help with a closet re-fresh or are looking to add in a few new items for the season, email me at: info@sophiemaestyle.com to get started!

DRESS A.L.C. // BAG Madewell //  SHOES Dolce Vita // HAT BCBG // LIPSTICK Tom Ford

The cold shoulder style is one of summer’s hottest trends this year. I’m a huge fan of this look because I’ve always thought showing a little shoulder is super sexy. I mean, how chic is it to be covered up except for a little hint of skin? This A.L.C. cold shoulder dress fits and flatters in all the right places. I love the 1960’s inspired print and moody color tones. I accessorized the dress with a carryall tote by Madewell. I love it because I can fit my MacBook, plus all my daily essentials.

I couldn’t help but throw on this black BCBG hat. I know, it’s not a summer accessory, but I wanted to show how versatile this look can be. You can take this outfit from a day date in June to a day of shopping in September.

Happy summer!
