T-SHIRT Paige // JEANS Vigoss // HANGBAG Madewell

WATCH Daniel Wellington // HAT  Topshop // SHOES Toms

There’s really nothing quite like a great pair of boyfriend jeans. They are comfy, stylish and great for running around town. Because I work from home most of the time (unless I’m shopping with clients), I love the idea of an updated classic t-shirt and jean combo. I’ve been living in these Vigoss “Tomboy” jeans because they are slim-fitting enough to be feminine, but also have that boyfriend jean vibe. Oh, and did I mention that they are only $59?? I like dressing them up with a silk top, but will forever love the look of a striped t-shirt with distressed denim. This Paige tee is so flattering and is also super soft!

As for the accessories, this Topshop floppy hat has been on major repeat mode lately. It’s not quite chilly enough to wear it every day, but come October, I don’t think I’m taking it off! And let’s just talk about how perfect this Madewell “Transport” tote is for a moment. The leather is so luxe and the brown/black color combo goes with literally everything. You can even it it monogramed at your local Madewell store! Lastly,we have my new favorite piece this season, this Daniel Wellington watch. This watch is so light and just looks so damn cool.

Hope you love this relaxed, yet stylish look. I would love to see your take on the classic t-shirt and jean combo. Be sure to share how YOU wear this look on social media and tag @sophiemaestyle!

All my love,

T-SHIRT Stateside  // SKIRT Madewell // HANGBAG Elizabeth and James

NECKLACE Nordstrom // HAT  Topshop // SHOES Bella Vita

Fall is almost here and I couldn’t be more excited! This time of year brings lots of beautiful things to look forward to: layering your favorite sweaters, rockin’ your favorite knee-high boots, sipping Pumpkin Spice lattes and celebrating my birthday (which is October 28th, just in case you wanted to know!) I thought I would post a pre-fall look, even though it is still in the 90’s here in Cali. One of my favorite things about fall fashion is mixing textures in a muted color palette.

This Madewell skirt had me at “hello”. I love everything about it. The midi length, the waist tie, and of course, the color. I paired it with a simple grey tee by Stateside, but it looks just as cool with a white, black or graphic top as well. I’ve accessorized with a pop of color necklace because it’s unexpected and fun! I completed the look with a must-have black Topshop hat, tan buckle booties and my favorite Elizabeth and James leopard print messenger bag.

I’ve had a few of you ask what mascara and bronzer I use. I don’t leave the house with my Nars bronzer/blush combo and my tried-and-true Lancome mascara!

Stay stylish!

JUMPSUIT // Forever21 (similar) // HANDBAG // Rebecca Minkoff

 SHOES // Topshop // SUNNIES // Prada

It’s official. I have a little bit of a jumpsuit obsession. I know this because the last time I looked in my closet I spotted about 8 . . . ok, maybe 10. I bought this Forever21 version (similar, here) at the beginning of summer and I just can’t get enough of it! I love the print, the back tie detail and the illusion of a sheer leg. It’s stylish, comfortable and will work all year round. Oh course the great price didn’t hurt either!

Another one of my wardrobe favorites this season is my Rebecca Minkoff “Lexi” bucket bag in beige. I mean, it’s the perfect color! The bucket shape is right on trend, along with the adorable fringe tassels that shimmy as you walk. Since I’m a bit taller, I can pull off a flat sandal with this romper, but a heel or wedge looks just as fresh. I kept the jewelry simple with this look, but you really can’t go wrong with a great stack of bangles or a chunky necklace.

Lastly, I feel like we need to talk about my milkmaid braids I’m sporting in this post for a second. I discovered this look on Pinterest and haven’t looked back since. I’m not very brave when it comes to trying different hair styles, but this one is just SO easy! Maybe I’ll do a tutorial on it next???
