What’s In: Sherbet Hues

Fashion has a new favorite frosty treat: sherbet hues. It all started with Louis Vuitton’s latest candy-colored collection featuring eyelet lace and 3D daisy details. High-end department stores and independent boutiques alike took notice and next thing we knew it was lady-like pastel takeover!

Now you can wear your favorite flavors like cool mint, light peach, refreshing blueberry and strawberries and cream. Pastel colored denim has been a huge statement this season and is particularly fresh when paired with an ivory top and gold jewelry. Don’t be afraid to color block these cool tones and mix different textures like strips with solids.

Like most trends, wardrobe isn’t the only place we’re seeing this color trend. Sherbet colored nail polish, lip colors and even hair dyes are making they way on the scene. I love the idea of peach colored digits on a summer’s day!

  1. One of my coworkers was wearing a lime sherbet dress yesterday and it looked so great on her! Didn’t know I was commenting on a fashion trend. Guess I have a little style sense. :)
