One of my top five goals this year was to collaborate with more fellow girl bosses. You know, the girls who are killing it as entrepreneurs, moms, wives and fashionistas? Basically the women who run the world! Brielle is one of those women. She is the creator and founder of The Gilded Bellini, where she shares her love of fashion and brunching. She is always on the lookout for the best (and most stylish) brunch spots in town! Since I also share in her affinity for bellinis, I thought what better way to collaborate then over brunch?

We recently took a trip to my favorite brunch spot, Herringbone in La Jolla, CA. I go for the live music, amazing brunch menu, chic atmosphere and stay for the endless mimosas. Herringbone is the perfect brunching spot for you and your girls after a weekend out on the town. They also have locations in Santa Monica and Las Vegas, which I visit whenever I am in the area. If you haven’t experienced a Herringbone brunch, you are missing out!

Brielle and I wanted to show you some ideas of what to brunch. Sure, you may be moving a little slow on Sunday morning (we get it ; ), but who doesn’t want an excuse to dress up and look amazing while sipping their Bloody Mary? In this post, we are wearing a mix of dressy items from designers like Parker and Trina Turk, while also pairing more affordable items from our favorite OC boutique, Blue Eyed Girl. You would be surprised at how a great pair of jeans and a chic top can elevate your whole look.

Take a look at our brunching video below, highlighting our brunch looks at Herringbone. Cheers to showing off your personal style in 2017!

xo, SM
