I’m always a little leary of those Facebook ads that showcase super chic clothes at too-good-to-believe prices. I once fell prey to one of these said sites after purchasing what I thought was the perfect navy blue party dress for an upcoming event. Luckily, I had a back up because when the dress arrived, it was a disaster. The fit was horrible, it was sewn all wrong and the material was beyond cheap looking. I guess that’s what I get for ignoring the negative online reviews and thinking that a lace party dress could be amazing for only $15.00.

You could imagine my hesitation when I started to see the online store Dezzal popping up all over my Instagram and Facebook feed. It looked like another one of “those” type of sites and I wasn’t about to get ripped off again. However, after reading some of the positive reviews and browsing their extensive collection of items, I decided to give them a try. I ended up ordering two dresses from the site before New York Fashion Week.

General Review: My favorite dress I bought was this embroidered dress that I am wearing in this post. Embroidery is a huge trend for fall, so I was happy to embrace the look without spending a lot of money. We are seeing the trend everywhere from boots to denim jackets and I am loving it all! This dress was only $80.99, which I thought was a good deal for the quality of the dress.

Shipping: I was impressed right away by how quickly the dresses arrived. While the dress from the other site (which I believe is no longer in business) took over six weeks to arrive, the Dezzal dresses took only four to six days! The two dresses arrived nicely folded in thick plastic bags that could be reused for storage while traveling.

Sizing: I knew from experience to go up at least two sizes when ordering at online stores such as Dezzal. I normally wear a 4 to 6, depending on the style of the item, however, I ordered an XL in both dresses. I am really glad I did because they both fit great when I tried them on!

One more thing . . . The only negative thing I wanted to mention about my experience with ordering from Dezzal, was that the black slip on the dress was sewn inside out. This caused the seam to be visible and the tag to show through the mesh. This was not a huge deal, but a bit annoying nonetheless.

I hope you all enjoyed this Dezzal dress review. Do you guys have experience with ordering from Dezzal? What did you order and what did you think? Tell me in the comment box below!

xo, SM
