Happy 2016 everyone! I apologize for the delay in publishing this post. I was traveling all week and then caught a horrible cold, so I’ve been in bed for the past four days trying to get better. Not the most exciting way to start the New Year, I know, but I’m rolling with it! January is one of my favorite times of year because I love the idea of beginning anew with fresh dreams and goals.
This year, I created a video where I share my top five style/lifestyle resolutions for 2016. My list includes everything from maximizing my wardrobe to getting out of my comfort zone and traveling more. I think it’s important to share your goals with others so they can encourage you achieve them. I would love to hear about your New Years resolutions as well!
As for my New Years Eve outfit, I was feeling the 1960’s vibe this year. While most gals want to bare as much skin as possible, I’m all about the “less is more” sensibility. This Elizabeth and James fridge dress is perfect for cocktails and dancing the night away. I paired the dress with a metallic Jimmy Choo clutch because I just love the rich combination of black and gold. The heels are Charles David. I’ve had them for ages, but they never fail to get lots of compliments.
