what-to-wear-when-traveling

I’ve been lucky enough to visit some pretty fun places this year. I’ve been back and forth to New York three times, to Vegas twice, visited friends in Denver, taken mini trips to Palm Springs, spent time in Joshua Tree, visited Ojai three different times and now I am off to San Fransisco tomorrow. I feel like once I’ve finally gotten the chance to unpack, it’s time to go again! With all of this traveling it’s essential to know what to wear when you’re on the road. In this outfit post, I show you one of my favorite looks I rocked on a recent trip to the desert.

We shot this look at JT Villager, a super rad AirBnB located in the heart of Joshua Tree, CA. I thought this outfit from Blue Eyed Girl was the perfect mix of style and comfort for a weekend away. I’m a huge fan of graphic tees and often wear them on long car rights or flights. This style from Show Me Your Mumu seemed just too perfect for the occasion! I tied a oversized flannel by Rails around my waist just in case I get chilly. Plus, it adds a fun pattern into the mix.

The jeans are by Hudson and they are SO comfortable! I cuffed them at the bottom because I wanted to show off my wedge booties. These are Forever21 from a few years ago, but you can find a similar pair, here. I completed the look with a maroon floppy hat and this fringe tote by Cleobella.

Now I’m off to pack for my next trip! Stay tuned for more outfit ideas on my Instagram and Snapchat (@sophiemaestyle)!
